23mm, Confederate Infantry (Lined "I") Button with a "Superior Quality" backmark. It has a light dimple on the Lined "I."  This was found in one of the Surrender Camps of Johnston's Army near Greensboro, N. C.  Thus, it was there through the closing chapter of hostilities in the Eastern theater of the War.
