22mm, Confederate Infantry, lined Old English "I" coat button with a blank backmark. These buttons were made in Londan, purchased from S. Isaacs Campbell & Co., and imported into the United States through the blockade during the American Civil War.  This example displays a lovely patina with gentle usage and wear.
