23mm, Confederate Local Infantry Roman "I" button with a highly desirable E. M. Lewis "E.M.L&C./Richmond, VA",  rmdc backmark.  Hard to find Non-dug example.  This one has an unsoldered shank. I would have thought it was an old replacement, but as I study it for description, I note that it is riveted from the inside (within) and so simply was not soldered for reinforcement.
